Do you provide food?
Yes we do. We feed Natural Balance pet food. This is a chicken based food, high in protein. We offer maintenance, senior, puppy and light for dogs. For cats we offer maintenance, light and lamb & rice. Also we can add canned food to their diet if requested. We also give dogs a goodnight cookie.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks or cash. Payment for your pets stay upon their departure from the kennel. However, if your pet is with us for more than a month you will receive a 10% discount provided board is paid in advance.

What is my pets' routine while staying with you?
By 8:00 AM the dogs are let out of their indoor enclosure to go potty and get a little exercise. While they are out we clean and sanitize the inside sleeping area, and prepare their breakfast. Then the dogs come inside to eat while we clean and sanitize the outside of their spaces. Throughout the afternoon we exercise the dogs and periodically clean runs. In the evening we fluff beds and feed dinner and give goodnight cookies before the full-time staff goes home. We have a night person on the premises to watch over the animals at night. Lights-out is between 9-10 PM weather permitting.

Do we need to make reservations?
Yes! We are often booked weeks or months in advance for school breaks, holidays and summer vacations. Grooming appointments are best made about one week in advance.

Are vaccinations required?

Cats: Distemper, Upper Respiration and Rabies
Veterinary proof of vaccinations is a must. We will not accept owner-given shot records. Please speak with your vet about incubation periods on vaccines.

Sunday 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Checkout Monday through Saturday is by 12:00 PM. You will be charged for an additional day if your pet is picked up after 12:00 PM. If your pet is bathed or groomed on day out, there is no charge for pick up day (except on Sunday pick ups). Sunday pick up is the same as Monday AM pick up.

What if my dog or cat gets sick or injured?
We keep a close watch over each and every guest to be certain they stay healthy. Every effort is made to call owners or emergency contacts in the event of serious illness or injury. Your pet's veterinarian will be consulted and advised. Local vets or emergency clinics are used if needed. (When leaving a geriatric pet, it is best to discuss his/her care with your veterinarian prior to bringing them in for boarding)

Will our dog or cat have his or her own private space?
Each dog has his/her own indoor area that is 4'X 4' with his/her own doorway to a private, covered run that is 4' X 12'. All runs are epoxy-covered concrete floors so that they can be kept sanitized. The temperature is controlled with the use of radiant heat in the cooler months and cooling fans in the summertime. The cats are in a cattery that is heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer. Each single cat space is 25" deep X 57" wide X 25" high. These spaces have perches for resting and most are located near sealed windows that look out onto the gardens and birdfeeders.
